In realization of the need for international cooperation between people in the united states and people in developing countries the corporation has been created to educate people in the united states about development issues and the need for international cooperation. Iicd Michigan promotes development projects and research into issues of international cooperation and development, and in 2018 operated a training program focusing on international cooperation and development with participants from united states as well as from mexico, argentina, costa rica, colombia and brazil. The participants worked as part of their program in developing projects in zambia, mozambique and malawi. Furthermore, the training program focuses on development theory, the conditions in developing countries, technical skills needed in development and charitable work and other relevant subjects. In realization of the desired need for protecting our planet the iicd, Michigan will support, initiate and run a variety of projects aimed at protecting the earth's natural habitat and ecosystems. In 2018 iicd Michigan has focused on promoting, initiating and exercising re-use and recycling including collection of recyclables and second hand clothes for reuse. Furthermore, iicd has promoted healthy living, including healthy food, physical exercise, preventing diseases and promoting a positive approach to life.
