Program areas at Arizona Department of Housing

Apache New Start, Bridging Northern Arizona, Little Colorado and Good Shephard are permanent supportive housing programs for the seriously mental ill or disabled, low income and chronically homeless population. Case management as well as family team building with agency collaborations are some of the services this population is offered. Old Concho offers assistance with rent and utilities, food and other supportive services as needed. Apache New Start assisted 38 people, 27 adults and 11 children. Bridging Northern Arizona assisted 16 adults (this is a predominantly single adult program). Little Colorado assisted 10 people (9 adults 1 child). Good Shephard assisted 13 People, 10 Adults and 3 children which is also a predominantly single adult program
NACOG is a program to assist clients with housing, utilities, weatherization, appliance repair and or replacement. NACOG assisted 518 clients.
ADOH & Rapid Rehousing as well as Temporary Emergencies Services Grant. Homeless prevention and Rapid Rehousing provides housing and utility assistance to the homeless, about to become homeless families in Apache and Navajo Counties. The purpose is to prevent clients from becoming homeless. Clients are assisted with complete living assistance and education on living skills as needed to give individuals and families a chance to become self sufficient. HTF Rapid Rehousing assisted 37 people, 25 adults and 12 children. ESG Prevention assisted 7 people 2 adults and 5 children. ESG Rapid Rehousing assisted 56 people, 34 adults and 22 children. ESG TES assisted 46 people 34 adults and 12 children.
