The mission of NICF is to improve the quality of the life in our communities by assisting donors in fulfilling their charitable wishes the foundation does this by building endowment funds for our communities with contributions, both large and small.

Program areas at NICF

The Foundation is dedicated to educating, communicating and celebrating Community spirit through the generousity of our donors. In 2021, 195 scholarships were awarded along with grants to many not-for-profits. The purpose of the grants were arts/culture, education, health, environment, human services, Community development and youth.
The Foundation holds several non-permanent funds for local agencies and projects. This gives the agencies and projects accountability to their donors.
