North Carolina Senior Games promotes and educates older adults on wellness and health. Its local games program is the largest network of senior gamers in the nation. It offers a year-round program of sports, arts, workshops, clinics, and wellness events for participants who compete to qualify for the state finals. The state finals are a multi-day event held in various cities within North Carolina that showcase the best senior talent in the state.

Program areas at North Carolina Senior Games

Local Games program: North Carolina has the largest network of local Senior gamers in the nation. A year round program of sports, arts, workshops, clinics, and wellness events is offered. Many of the participants in these programs competed to qualify for the annual state finals held each fall. Educational programs for statewide staff are offered, as are newsletters, publications, a statewide walking program (silverstriders), a statewide dance program (silverliners), and an excellent website. Over 20 statewide organizations and agencies endorse and help coordinate this large award-winning program.
State finals: the state finals is a multi-day event conducted in various cities within the state and showcases the best Senior talent in the state of North Carolina.
