Program areas at North American Society for Sport History

Nassh publishes the journal of Sport History three times a year (spring, summer and fall). Each issue contains academic articles on issues regarding the History of sports as well as book reviews, historiographical essays, and research commentaries.
Nassh hosts an annual academic convention at a different location each may. Academic historians, graduate students, and independent researchers conduct presentations on their research projects to hundreds of attendees. Formal critiques by commentators and questions from the audience provide invaluable feedback for researchers and the information they produce for the community.
