Nonprofitconnect strengthens governance practices and leadership capacity to maximize the impact of the nonprofits' programming for the communities they serve. Board and executive director peer circles provide interactive sessions that allow participants to learn from their peers to get real life advice and proven solutions to tackle new challenges and share best practices. Other activities include: 1) board partners where Nonprofitconnect consults with nonprofits to strengthen their board governance practices; 2) board self-assessments for nonprofit boards who are looking to evaluate current strengths and areas for improvement; and 3) leadershipconnect where training sessions are provided to address current issues facing nonprofit board and staff leaders.

Leading from within trains nonprofit leaders who aspire to be executive directors in a nine month program that covers topics from leadership to working with the board to fundraising and includes mentoring.

Boardconnect is a comprehensive training program for participants who are interested in joining a nonprofit board or who are already serving on a board and want to sharpen their skills. Boardconnect includes six hours of training in a virtual setting on topics critical to nonprofit board service. Once the program is completed, participants are matched with nonprofits that align with their personal passions.
