Program areas at Nonprofit Risk Management Center
Consulting Services - NRMC is a trusted advisor to large and complex nonprofit organizations, associations, federations and umbrella groups. NRMC's consulting function empowers leadership teams to strengthen their risk management capabilities. Examples of consulting engagements include risk assessments, insurance coverage reviews, the design and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, governance assessments, youth protection program development, and the design and delivery of custom training programs and materials. NRMC also develops risk-themed web portals for use by nonprofit leaders, as well as custom versions of web applications for the members, affiliates, chapters and customers of large organizations.
Conferences - NRMC hosts an annual in-person (virtual in 2020) Risk Summit for risk and financial professionals from the nonprofit and insurance sectors.
Educational Resources - This program includes the free and affordable educational services and resources developed and delivered by NRMC to thousands of mission-driven nonprofit organizations. Educational Resources are provided to Affiliate Members and the wider nonprofit sector. NRMC's Educational Resources include, nonprofitrisk.org, interactive web applications, articles, factsheets, infographics, tutorials, the RISK eNews, Risk Management Essentials, webinars and books.
