NFIB The Voice of Free Enterprise

During 2020, Nfib, the Voice of Free Enterprise, Inc. Informed the public on issues important to the entrepreneurial community. Nfib, the Voice of Free Enterprise, Inc. also continued work on an effort to educate the public on issues relating to the healthcare law (ppaca). the stop the health insurance tax (hit) effort has over 37 coalition partners, with the goal to bring to light the effects of the health insurance tax on the entrepreneurial community and the public at large. After the hit coalition helped deliver a permanent repeal of the hit beginning in 2021 as part of the year end government funding deal, achieving the coalition's long-held policy goal, the effort moved to the state level to pushback on state-level initiatives to create their own hits to fund programs like public options or reinsurance programs.
