Program areas at NYSNA
Program expenses including communications and publications; representation, member mobilization, and negotiations; membership services; nursing practice and nursing education; meeting convention planning; strategic research, planning and labor education; political and community organizing.
Convention: the convention is attended by hundreds of Nurses and nursing students each year. It is an opportunity for members to discuss and vote on issues related to nursing and nysna during voting body sessions in order to set the direction and priorities of the union.
Administration: nysna departments provide specialized skills and expertise to support the work of the Association's programs.
