Technical assistance and training:nycon provides a wide array of specialized technical assistance services, including legal and financial, to Nonprofits of all kinds in a staff-based,multidisciplinary team model, helping to build a long term,multi-layered service relationship with member Nonprofits.
Center for advocacy and policy: to provide policy leadership in nys by pursuing legislative and regulatory issues at the federal, state, and local levels that are important to the vitality and well-being of the charitable nonprofit sector in the state; particularly, with respect to value and impact on community-based charities that are small to moderate in size.
General member services:nycon provides its members a wealth of quality,cost-saving group purchasing and discounted programs from insurance and employee benefits to payroll outsourcing and publication discounts. In addition members have access to discounted technical assistance and educational events.
