Program areas at New Mexico Foundation for Dental Health Research and Education
"we smiles" is a statewide program that includes outreach, Education, in- office treatment, clinic events and follow up with clients to help them identify a Dental home. 387,504 in donated treatment to adults, 9,800 families received outreach, and 324 clients received restorative oral Health care. 33,104 in donated children's screening and Education provided. 1040 New Mexico children received oral Health Education.
New Mexico mission of mercy large clinic event: a large 2-day clinic serving hundreds of individuals with free Dental and medical care on april 26-27, 2024, in santa fe, nm. 1,062,169 in donated treatment, 784 individual received urgent and restorative Dental services from 903 volunteers for the two day event.
Emerging leaders program: help in the process of creating a pipeline of dentists and other Dental professionals in New Mexico. Espcially working with pre-dental student planning to attend Dental school with shadowing, mentoring, Education materials, and other aid needed for entrance to Dental school. Additionally providing opportunities for New Mexico dentisits and Dental professionals with networking and mentoring especially New dentists.
New Mexico Dental Foundation provided relief aid to one other Dental foundations in the united states during the year. 6,950 to the Hawaii Dental association Foundation for maui disaster fire relief.
