Program areas at New Jersey Aids Services
Residential program - offer lgbtq+ and hiv+ individuals housing location Services and assistance with emergency & permanent housing. Hiv+ persons may apply for and receive long-term rental assistance through several funding streams.
Education and prevention program - aims to improve cultural competence, educate the community, and decrease stigma. Staff members visit schools, youth groups, social service agencies, government entities, corporations, and other organizations throughout the year to provide educational seminars.
Community based Services - provides medical & case management Services, behavioral health counseling, full transportation, support groups & various social activities, and educational seminars to hiv+ persons. Edge pride center - provides medical & case management Services, behavioral health counseling, support groups & various social activities, and educational seminars to lgbtq+ individuals.
