Description
New Horizons for Children shares the love of God by improving the lives of vulnerable children worldwide through relationships, hosting, support, and education. In 2022 alone, NHFC helped evacuate and support over 2500 orphaned children in Ukraine and created 30 Safe Haven locations in western Ukraine to house them. NHFC USA also contributed by providing clothes and activities to help support these children.

Program areas at New Horizons for Children

Nhfc continued to provide support to orphaned and traumatized Children in ukraine. Multiple mission teams and staff were deployed to train adults in trauma informed care practices for vulnerable Children and help support caregivers and Children displaced by war. Nhfc staff conducted numerous trainings via translators. Nhfc also provided food, clothes and supplies. Nhfc usa provides suport to nhfc ukraine with purchasing homes to set up large foster families in ukraine and supporting them with ongoing trauma informed parenting and support in partnership with the local government and local ngos.
