There was one major symposium events in fiscal year 2024 (May 2024).
NECPUC provided training opportunities for commissioners and staff with various partners, including the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissions, member Commissions, and other partners.
NECPUC provides training, workshops, and meetings for State Commissioners and staff. This includes NECPUC planning and carrying out trainings, workshops, and meetings, as well as providing support, in the form of travel reimbursement, to attend trainings sponsored by other entities in New England. NECPUC also provides funding for the Commissioners, and sometimes their staff, to come together in meetings to discuss issues and conduct the business of the organization.
Through a Memorandum of Understanding, NECPUC staff provide administrative, management, and bookkeeping services to a 501(c)(4) organization, the "New England Utility Cybersecurity Integration Collaborative or "NEUCIC." NEUCIC is a nonprofit organization developed by the public utilities commissions in each of the New England states to facilitate collaboration between and among various stakeholders in New England with respect to cybersecurity matters related to critical infrastructure in those states.
