Nevada Nordic transforms North Lake Tahoe into a vibrant sports destination by promoting community-supported cross-country ski and multi-use venues. This 501(c)(3) non-profit organization fosters the establishment of safe, groomed ski trails while dedicatedly working to restore cross-country skiing in the Mt. Rose Area. From November 2022 to May 2023, Nevada Nordic provided approximately 15 kilometers of free groomed trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and snow biking, attracting an estimated 23,500 user visits.
