Program areas at Nevada Advocates for Planned Parenthood
Nappa continued working to build an activist and supporter base. In the current year, this included work during the election and throughout the election and legislative session. The organization registered voters and encouraged them to get out and vote. It recruited and trained supporters to advocate at the capitol.
Nappa focused on studying the need for and recommending policy language for proactive women's health legislation. We identified sponsors for the legislation and worked during the session to pass legislation to improve access to women's health.
