New media mentors launched in january 2011, new media mentors is an intensive learning and capacity-building opportunity to help progressive non-profits use social media and online organizing tools more effectively.
The Netroots nation convention an annual convention gathering people from all walks of life who belong to the Netroots, the us-based (but globally focused and inclusive) non- partisan grassroots community that uses the internet and blogs as primary tools for expressing viewpoints; building consensus; acting to change the status quo: mobilizing huge numbers of people and informing each other and the world about current events, grassroots actions, networks, meetings and policy.
Bootstraps bootstraps is a project to provide a universal basic income for various americans and document the impact of receiving consistent funds has on their lives. 22 different people participated in this project.
Netroots Foundation brings together online citizens across america, injects progressive voices into the national conversation and advances the values of justice, equality and community in our nation's politics.
