Natural Capitalism Solutions (NCS)' mission is to educate senior decision-makers in business, government and civil society about the principles of sustainability.* NCS shows how to restore and further enhance the natural and human capital while increasing prosperity and quality of life. In partnership with leading thinkers and groups, NCS creates innovative, practical tools and implementation strategies for companies, communities and countries. Natural Capitalism Solutions (NCS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Program areas at NCS

Education is at the heart of the NCS Mission. We parnter with educational institutions, creating curriculum, teaching and lecturing globally. Hunter Lovins helped develpe MBA programs at Pinchot University and Presido Graduate School and currently teaches principles of sustainable management at the Bard MBA in substainablity program. Our students now work in companies large and small, governments, and entreprenuerial endeavors around the world. Hunter often says that we train our compeition and it is true. We are honored to have them as colleagues tackling the difficult challenges facing us all.
Natural Capitalisms Clean Coalition enabled micro-grids to be installed in communities in California and elsewhere. EcoAthletes brought sustainability solutions to the sports industry. Our Mission Zero project educated university students on climate solutions, including holding fairs and competitions for student solutions. Anthropocene Magazine continued its mission to bring solutions oriented to journalism to its readers. Bill Becker and Hunter Lovins published numerous articles in journals around the world. Hunter Lovins helped create the Future Economy Forum, which held ten days of dialogues with heads of state, ministers, CEOs, head of NGOs, indigenous people, youth negotiators and several thousand others at the UNs COP27 in Egypt.
