Program areas at Native American Childrens Fund
Throughout the year the Organization provided for fifthteen truck loads totaling 666,717 lbs, valued at 1,106,749 of nutrious foods, fruits and vegetables to the Cocapah and Kiliwa Indian reservations in San Luis, Southern Arizona as well as to Alianza de Nutricion Y Salud in Mexicali B.C. Mexico. They provide for food distributions to needy children and families at their feeding centers.
The Organization continues to support Native American communities in northeastern and central Oklahoma and on the reservations of southern Arizona and New Mexico. The programs include Eagle Flight Summer Camps for the children, Clothing and Shoe projects, firewood and water barrels, Thanksgiving dinners to the Cherokee, Creek and Navajos reservations and Christmas gifts to the students at Bell and Zion schools.
