Crew Leader Training: NUCA's essential skills for crew leaders training is a 2 day intensive course that trains workers to be effective leaders and communicators so they can provide clear direction to the crew and plans and schedule the crews work to maximize safety production and profit. The class was taught by NUCA's National Safety Director and there were 16 students that attended (and completed) the course.

Live Trench Training - Outdoor training event which included 9 stations offered to over 325 attendees. Attendees spent 20 minutes at each station taught by certified instructors. TOSHA inspectors were in attendance as well and offered comments and observations. Training stations included sloping & benching, trench boxes, confined space, horizontal drilling, emergency preparedness, overhead electrical arc, location utilities, daylighting utilities, and shoring systems. Attendees trained from 8am - 1 pm and received breakfast and lunch as well as four (4) continuing education credits.
