Program areas at NSC

Safety, education, and training - educational services to customers, including defensive driving, first aid, workplace Safety, and conventions.the nsc accomplished the following during 2022:-partnered with more than 140 employers to reduce musculoskeletal disorders which are the most pervasive workplace injury. Nsc's goal is to work with employers to reduce msd risk and injuries by 25% by 2025.-nsc's green cross celebration raises critical funds that enable nsc to keep people safe throughout their everyday lives, both on and off the job. Nsc's green cross for Safety awards presented at this celebration recognize outstanding advances in Safety. -released "mobility, technology, and Safety: the next 20 years" which is a cutting-edge report exploring Safety concerns that will impact mobility in the decades to come.-continued to bring together top experts, leaders, and professionals in the Safety field to create a global culture of safety.-supported diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Safety field and honored the first recipient of the diversity in Safety scholarship. These scholarships are awarded to individuals studying environmental, health, and/or safety.-held the nsc Safety congress & expo Safety event for industry-leading technology, education, networking opportunities and products and services needed to stay in the forefront and remain competitive in the industry.-spread the message about the value of Safety at more than 40 external and nsc-sponsored events. -nsc's experts, research, and programs were included in more than 24,000 times in broadcast, print, and digital media.-engaged nsc's 13,000 member companies and trained more than 1.2 million people through nsc's workplace, first aid, and driver Safety training offerrings.
Advocacy and partnerships - activities related to public awareness, lobbying, and grant-funded initiatives. Nsc advocates at both the federal and state level in their efforts to educate everyone to ensure Safety is a priority each day. Additionally, nsc advocates for Safety with more than 100 current policy statements related to home & community, transportation, workplace, and covid-19.
Membership - provides support and benefits to members.members partner with nsc to build a strong Safety culture at their workplace and keep their employees safe. Members receive:-access to the latest regulatory, trend, research and compliance information. -discounts on training to keep their workplaces and employees safe.-tools and resources to build a culture of Safety at their workplace,-opportunities to connect with other Safety professionals, thought leaders, and peers.
