Education - broadcast and social media campaigns:in 2023, nitf released the linked by love psa on tv and radio to increase awareness about kidney disease and failure, Transplantation and living donation. There was about 205,500,000 impressions (tracked from feb. Through july 2023). The social media campaign provided kidney disease prevention,healthy living, kidney transplant and living donation information by posting on facebook, instagram and tiktok. There were over 1,190,000 impressions. Both campaigns targeted the black and hispanic populations, who are most at-risk of kidney disease and failure in an effort to decrease the disparities.
Education - linked by love series:in 2022, we produced the linked by love series and all kidneys are pink docuseries. We completed production and released in march 2023. This series is on youtube and linked by love website. This series is the newest addition to our library of digital "edutainment" to provide vital healthcare information about kidney disease, kidney Transplantation and living donation to at-risk populations, primarily black and latino. Linked by love is an effort to decrease the disparities of kidney disease and increase access of kidney Transplantation among the black population. There were over 21,000 visitors.
