Mjuseum and exhibits - the National Food and Beverage museum is a nonprofit living history organization dedicated to the discovery, understanding and celebrations of the Food, drink, and culture of the world through the eyes of the south. The museum of the american cocktail - through its two century history, the cocktail has influenced music, theater, art, film, and politics around the world. Natfab culinary library & archive - the National Food and Beverage museums vast culinary literature collection is available to the public. The library contains over 11,000 vilumes of culinary books, Food and cocktail menus, pamphlets, archival documents and other literature ephemera.
Educational programs & events, taken together, allow natfab to celebrate the fundamental importance of Food across all sectors of society and throughout our culture. Some of these opportunities include the weekly newsletter, facebook, twitter and pintrist query & lecture series; nitty grits (the online culunary dictionary) and teh National culinary heritage register, and public and private demonstrations and teaching events. Strategic partnerships with tulane university, the new school, new york university, los angeles public library, yale university and several others.
