Patient Services-NCADD, GDA provided an array of outpatient substance use disorder services to adults and adolescents in These services include more than 4,800 units of individual, 1,100,units of group and 1,700 units of intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment services. Clients in these programs also had the opportunity to have a trained Recovery Coach assigned to assist gach individual in working their way through treatment and into recover ye
Community Education Prevention and Recovery--Four programs were in operation in 2018. Our Celebrating Families and Strengthening Families programs work with substance abuse treatment clients and their families to build support for the treatment and recovery of the client among their family members. NCADD, GDA is a founding member of the annual recovery month-Celebrate Recovery Walk and Rally held in the State of Michigan each September. The Rally is a national event in cities accross the country The event supports individual and their families in the recovery community and advocates for their rights. The 2018 event was held Belle Isle in Detroit and attracted several thousand people. ooo ence ence cence ener Our STEPS, SAFETY and new for 2018 Healthy Zone prevention programs work with at risk youth to prevent them from the substance abust life style. These programs include summer work internships, college tours, after school assistance in academics and appropriate life style health and safety information and support
