Community Education Prevention and Recovery--Four programs were in operation in 2018. Our Celebrating Families and Strengthening Families programs work with substance abuse treatment clients and their families to build support for the treatment and recovery of the client among their family members. NCADD, GDA is a founding member of the annual recovery month-Celebrate Recovery Walk and Rally held in the State of Michigan each September. The Rally is a national event in cities accross the country The event supports individual and their families in the recovery community and advocates for their rights.
