NCCN's mission, as an alliance of leading cancer centers devoted to patient care, research, and education, is to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of cancer care so that patients can live better lives.

Program areas at NCCN

With experts from major academic Cancer centers, develop and update clinical practice guidelines for treatment of Cancer; includes both distribution of guidelines for non-commercial use as well as certain educational conferences and symposia to communicate content free of charge.
Development of other public and professional information programs to facilitate access to Cancer specialty services.
Dissemination of patient information based on guidelines; development and dissemination of measures to access the quality of care.
