Nasf Foundation supports on-the-job experience for college students through the james hubbard internship for policy and communications. Emerging leaders engage at the National level in policy and communications activities that influence public awareness of State and private forestry. Those selected for this position attend meetings with partner organizations to help strengthen forestry coalitions, report out about congressional hearings on forestry and natural resources issues, and help maintain nasf online resources.more individuals received the opportunity to remotely participate in the harvard fellowships than in prior years because of the covid-19 pandemic.
