Program areas at Naperville Education Foundation

Each year through our Annual Grant Awards program, NEF gives 20-40 competitive grants to Naperville School District 203 schools that develop innovative projects which stimulate students' engagement and learning experience. These projects provide experience that excite, motivate and help students grow, learn and achieve in the categories of : Literacy, Fine Arts, Health/Physical Development, SEL and STEM.

Study Skills Academy (SSA) is NEF's signature program, now district-wide, that grew out of an annual award-winning proposal piloting the establishment of an SSA in our 14 elementary schools. Today, NEF provides funding to 21 of our 22 schools for their before/after school program that gives students a boost with homework and learning strategies. SSA has been credited with helping to raise District 203 test scores.

Scholarships awarded to qualified students in the Naperville School District 203 for educational related expenses associated with a college degree granting program.
