Program areas at Napa Valley Youth Symphony

The Napa Valley Youth Symphony was reated in 2002 to provide talente young musicians an opportunity to perform together in a full symphonic orchestra. The Napa Valley Youth Symphony performs three major concerts per year and presents several master classes, education concerts and chambrer music concerts each season. The Napa vallyouth symphon garnered many accolatdes over the past several seasons including recognition of achievement by united states senator barbara boxer and an inoitatopm to perform at crnegie hall. The young musicins come from many different schools in and around the Napa Valley area. The upper age limit is 25 years old. Ther is no minimum age. Thy are seleted by audition, but no qualified musician is exlllluded b cause of financial need. Financial asistance is available in the form of tuition.
