Family-to-family course: this education program is an eight session course for family members of individuals with mental illness, where participants develop an increased understanding of mental health, improve their coping skills, and empower them to advocate for their loved one. The course is taught by trained family members with all instruction and course materials provided at no cost to the participants. 15 persons served.
Mental health awareness week is recognized during the first week of october, when Nami Yolo County organizes a week of activities to bring awareness to the community on mental illness. Activities include an interfaith service, speakers, and presentations on mental health topics, and art activities. 100 persons served.
Celebrate hope and resilience: this gathering recognizes luminaries who shine a light on mental health, hope, and resilience, bringing together the community of Nami supporters, volunteers, peers, and providers. The event offers interactive activities for people to learn more about mental health, and highlights local community resources. 150 persons served.

Nami Yolo County's programs include outreach presentations to the community that help people learn about mental illness, identify the signs and symptoms of mental illness, and end the stigma associated with mental health conditions.
