To provide support, education and advocacy for people affected by mental illness, their families, and friends. To promote better quality of care, rights and interests of people affected by mental illness, particularly of people who cannot speak for themselves, and to advocate for policies at the local, state and national levels to accomplish these objectives. To help families and friends of people affected by mental illness by providing emotional support, education and information by newsletters, monthly group meetings and one on one personal meetings.
