Mission: Nami Broward County is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with mental illness and their families through support, education, and advocacy.nami Broward County reached over 6,500 people, in 2022. -11 guest speakers presented mental health topics to the community.-three presentations by peers - in our own voice -staff presented and participated in twenty-five community outreach events-presented 18 ending the voice sessions to Broward County students and faculties.-conducted 4 mental health first aid and 1 guardian advocate training to community members.-held 3 family to family and 3 peer to peer educational classes-provided seventy-seven sessions of family support groups, 346 sessions of connection recovery support groups and fifty sessions of online - in the room support, plus eleven sessions of young adult support groups-nami Broward mentors offered mentoring services to fifty-four individuals.-nami supported training for 1 peer-to peer program leader, 3 connection recovery support program leaders, and 2 family support group program leader.-nami Broward staff responded to over 840 inquiries and referred callers to services.
