Our urban neighborhood produce markets offer community members living in fresh food deserts the opportunity to take home $65 worth of fresh produce for as little as $5.00. We accept Snap, Ebt, Produce perks, WIC farm market coupons and Senior Farm coupons as a way to ensure that families who are receiving food assistance can stretch their dollars, have access to healthier options and can save money, reducing food insecurity and improving health outcomes served 9200
Fruit for the Holiday and Power of Produce programs increase the consumption of healthy produce for students living in food deserts and suffering from food insecurity. Fruit for the Holiday provides bags of apples, mandarins, bananas and healthy breakfast items for students prior to holiday school closures, ensuring the number of missed meals is reduced and an increase in vital nutrients. Power of Produce teaches students the outcome of healthy foods, inspires them to eat healthy when ever possible and send thems home with over 30 servings of produce from the in school market (free) Fruit for the Holiday - 16 schools, 16400 students, 4 distributions per year Power of Produce - 9 schools per year, 4800 students
