Robert carr fund (rcf): Mpact manages sub-contracts with 38 other networks and 14 consultants working at Global and regional level to promote awareness about The Hiv needs of men who have sex with men. With this grant from The robert carr fund, Mpact and The consortium it leads focus on catalyzing movements to decriminalize homosexuality; and steer national, regional and Global investment trends towards sustainable, community-led, evidence-informed, and rights-based programming tailored to The specific needs of gay men and other men who have sex with men. Love alliance (technical support program): Mpact delivers high-quality and specialized technical support in The form of funding, training and technical assistance to community-based organizations, non-governmental organizations and healthcare providers. Pursuant to partner selection, Mpact designed and implemented a wide range of community-based programs with both funding and technical support. From july 2022 to june 2023, Mpact continued partnerships with ishtar (kenya), lgbt+ rights ghana (ghana), galz (zimbabwe). In 2022-23 Mpact developed a wide range of community-based programs providing funding, technical support and linkage to Global advocacy mechanisms.
In 2022-23, Mpact reached over 110,000 lgbti people with social media messaging, funding for sexual health services, trained 40 healthcare professionals. Trained 775 key populations advocates. Supported 8 regional networks and 37 community based organizations. Distributed 1.1m in grants and contracts, provided technical assistance to people and organizations in 31 countries. Swiftly responded to The covid-19 pandemic and emerging monkey pox pandemic through up-to-date messaging around sexual health and rights. Advocacy to mitigate The risk for covid on Hiv programming and vulnerable communities. See schedule o for additional information.
Vviiv key population leadership (es tiempo): Mpact developed leadership training and community partnerships in order to build capacity in Hiv organizations for gay and bisexual men. In 2022-2023 Mpact developed partnerships with 4 organizations in The us to provide narrative change training and products for 600 latinx lgbtq people, developed partnerships with lighthouse (vietnam), ishtar (kenya), jamaican network of seropositives (jamaica), and inspira cambio (mexico).
