Morningstar provided homebuyer education, financial literacy, prepurchase, rental, and mortgage default counseling services to low-income families with the following outcomes 275 new clients, Created 297 Cases, 73 clients attended homebuyer education with 69 completing the Education requirements, & 747 One-on-One Counseling Appts.
Help to support capacity building with the hiring of two counselors to support programs and community events for homebuyer education workshops
Housing Stability housing instability counseling in rental and mortgage default counseling to clients facing eviction and foreclosure. We hired two counselors to handle the caseload and two volunteers to help with intake and program resources.
