Description
The Monarch Butterfly Fund fosters the conservation of North American monarch butterflies and their migration through habitat conservation, research, monitoring, education and support for sustainable community development in and near monarch habitats in Mexico. In addition to supporting environmental education activities, monitoring, outreach programs, forest restoration and sustainable development projects, they established the Lincoln P. Brower Award which is given annually. The bulk of their donations go to Alternare, A.C., who carry out yearly reforestations.
