Missouri Association Of County Developmental Disabilities Services (MACDDS)

The organization held monthly in-person membership meetings with a hybrid option and included legal brief segments, partner spotlights, and best practice sharing. Topic specific workgroups including the tcm workgroup, provider workgroup, and macchat mentoring group also met monthly. Legal counsel provided regular education on employment issues including remote work, accommodations, and hipaa as well as bylaws, social media, and records retention. Activities and trainings included strategic planning, value-based payments, dual diagnoses, and cybersecurity. Educated stakeholders on legislative efforts. Partnered with other organizations to address issues affecting people with Developmental disabilities. Held annual conference with 358 attendees. Again offered a membership discount to intentionally spend down surplus funds accumulated during the pandemic when activities were not held.
