Missoula International School

Missoula International School is a nonprofit, independent School in Missoula, Montana, offering a unique educational opportunity for Missoula families. Mis provides an engaging International curriculum taught primarily in spanish for children between the ages of three and fourteen. Mis is an International baccalaureate world School authorized for the primary years program (pyp). Mis offers a spanish immersion program in preschool through fifth grade in which all of the traditional subjects language arts, science, social studies, math are taught in spanish. Mis students learn the content of a primary grades curriculum while they also learn a second language. In the middle School program, mis prepares students to excel in a world society. Through a holistic approach to learning, mis encourages the middle School child to meet and exceed his or her individual potential. At mis, an extraordinary faculty focuses on the educational development of each child. The mis educational program is designed to be developmentally appropriate and academically rigorous at each grade level. The heart of mis is the collective vision that its teachers, staff, parents and students have for a better world.
