Community development--mhp helps organizations identify resources and develop the knowledge they need to create and preserve Housing and community assets. From innovative community planning processes to knowledge of complex federal programs, our expertise builds capacity and effective --and lasting-- collaboration among community leaders.
Research--mhp analyzes data and identifies key trends that make the case for affordable Housing and drives our public policy and community development efforts. Our publications also propel public dialogue on critical issues and give stakeholders the data-informed information they need to effectively advocate for their communities. An example of mhp's data being utilized for action: our "market watch" research series on naturally occuring affordable Housing has been cited as a "game-changer" for policymakers and advocates.
Policy--from advcocacy at the Minnesota state capitol to the federal, regional, and local levels of government, mhp drives efforts for smart Housing policies and mobilizes champions in support of affordable Housing investment for those who need it most.
