Program areas at Minnesota Conservation Federation
Mncf's membership consists of Conservation supporters across the state of Minnesota and a board of directors who engage with the organization. Mncf partners with a broad base of Conservation partners including nonprofits and state agencies to advocate for the state's natural resources and to elevate opportunities for engagement in outdoor recreation.
Mncf partners with the Minnesota department of natural resources to facilitate a network of taxidermist partners to collect and analyze deer tissue samples for the presence of chronic wasting disease.
Mncf is the lead organizer of the Minnesota Conservation network. With over 30 partner organizations the network brings together Conservation professionals to keep each other abreast of current Conservation issues and developments.
Mncf leads a program for college students interested in natural resources careers and introduces them to hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation experiences alongside professional mentors.
