Club f.e.a.r. Adolescent clubhouse - a program for prevention of substance abuse by having young people say yes to advocacy, education, history, community engagement, and extracurricular activities to divert them from substances. Partnering with local schools, familiies, truancy courts, and other local health resources, the children referred will be included in afterschool activities like fishing, kayaking, gardening, cooking, or podcast production. The program also focused on providing lessons on life skills in finance, leadership, and community advocacy. If necessary, the club can assign mentors for individual adolescents, or connect familiies with substance abuse treatment providers in the community.
Community mentoring program - open to students in grades 7-12 at risk of disconnection from school and community life, as well as youth ages 16-24 who are not working. Services include both 1 on 1 and group mentoring; workshops such as college & career info, life skills, mental health awareness & artistic expression; cultural and recreational field trips; and homework help, with food provided on-site.
Feed the elderly program of kent county - provides weekly food delivery of fresh produce, protein and shelf staples to homebound seniors in kent county, Maryland.
