Milwaukee Innercity Congregations Allied for Hope is a multi-racial, multi-faith organization committed to addressing justice issues that have an impact on the community and on the members of Micah congregations. Micah's goal is to empower people to act together in pursuit of justice, and to organize. With a membership that includes 40 congregations, a growing number of other organizations, and individual supporters from many religious traditions, we work in unity to fulfill Micah's mission. Working with the Coalition on Lead Emergency (COLE), Micah secured $26 million in funding.

Our membership includes 40 Congregations, a growing number of other organizations, and individual supporters. Of many religious traditions, we work in unity to fulfill micah.working with the coalition on lead emergency (cole), micah secured $26 million in american rescue plan act (arpa) funds for lead abatement of older homes in milwaukee.micah's transformational justice task force succeeded in securing funding for a full-scale mental health treatment court, to be established in Milwaukee county in the summer or fall of 2022.the micah transportation task force has helped send Wisconsin department of transportation's plan back to the drawing boards for more acceptable options for the repaving of i-94 from 16th st. to 70th st. micah's stance was to fix the six lanes that exist and not to add two more lanes.micah promoted community-based vaccine access as a way to address racial disparity in health care delivery and to combat covid-19. Micah partnered with health connections, Inc. to hold a series of vaccination clinics at churches throughout the city to better achieve vaccine equity for vulneralbe communities.
