COMPASS: Served over 650 youth through the center. Provided 6,700 meals to students each night; completed a successful summer camp for 40 students.
WAYPOINT: Served 84 students with long-term mentoring that begins in 7th grade and continues through high school graduation; graduated the first cohort who spent Memorial Day weekend on a camping trip in Acadia National Park to celebrate their successes and prepare for the next steps in life!
MAINE CAREER: COAST (Career Opportunities & Advancing Skills Together) is a workforce development program for 16-24 year olds in Sagadahoc County, Brunswick, and Harpswell. It supports youth who are often disconnected from formal supports, including those experiencing homelessness or who have unenrolled from high school. COAST provides job readiness skills, assistance with obtaining a drivers license, and helps secure meaningful, paid, long-term employment. Received a third year of funding; successfully trained 40 students in soft skills workforce training.
