They also support the development of the ed-fi solution - a free, flexible and complete ed-tech solution to empower educators with relevant, timely information that enables better data collection to drive improved student outcomes. They also support the creation and implementation of an education data system in south africa that is designed to improve student outcomes through district management tools and best practice sharing.
Global scholarship/university successthese direct charitable activities support student resources and equipment, such as computers and textbooks, as well as the implementation of and improvements to global scholarship tools in the us, india, and south africa. They also support a robust us scholarship program application platform.
Educational initiatives k-12these direct charitable activities support pre-university education quality improvement projects in us, india and south africa. Additionally, they support assessments of education improvement efforts.
Event & sponsorship fees: the ed-fi alliance conducts an annual summit and bootcamp that brings together state and local education agency leaders, ed-tech vendors, technical experts and decision makers to connect, share, and learn about the advantages of data interoperability using the ed-fi data standard and technology tools. To help offset the costs of these events, ed-fi alliance collects registration fees from attendees and sponsorship payments from organizations.
Subscription/implementation fees: college success tools ("cst") licenses its comprehensive, cloud-based student management software as a service ("saas") platform, gradsnapp, which empowers organizations to understand each student's journey through college and provides the support and interventions they need while saving time and budget. Gradsnapp provides comprehensive student profiles, including student progress dashboards, risk indicators and more. To help offset the costs of these activities, cst collects subscription and implementation fees from licensing gradsnapp.
Interest/dividends - pris: the Foundation uses highly structured equity and loan investments to help select entrepreneurial organizations in education, vocational training, and financial inclusion that help socially driven entrepreneurs launch new products that open new markets to routinely provide families living in urban poverty with access to the best-in-class financial, educational, and other tools that can help them transform their lifetime prospects.
