Mentor New York consulting and grant services- Mentor New York creates Mentoring initiatives and programs that expand Mentoring opportunities for young people across New York state. By providing nonprofits, corporations, community leaders, schools, Mentoring, and youth development programs an opportunity to explore how to infuse Mentoring in their current youth initiatives and programming, we are creating the spaces where young people live, work, learn and play with caring adults with Mentoring mindsets to enhance their social capital and social, emotional development. Most of our initiatives and programs are customized to meet the unique needs of the organizations developing or managing the Mentoring opportunities and the unique needs of the young people they are serving.
2022 Mentoring matters conference- this annual conference brings together youth development and Mentoring program practitioners to learn more about the emerging practices in the Mentoring movement; the latest research informing the movement and professional development sessions that increase skill development and networking amongst their peers and leading practitioners.
Mentor New York program services- Mentor New York provides live and recorded webinars and training for youth development practitioners, Mentoring practitioners, teachers, corporate supervisors, mentors, and professionals interested in Mentoring to increase their understanding of Mentoring practices, young people and increasing their Mentor mindsets. The organization also partners with experts who speak to key challenges young people face or provide expert strategies to support and enhance relationships with young people. Mentor New York provides these services through hosting wellness webinars and peer-sharing round tables, and sharing tools and resources.
