Program areas at Meadows School
The Meadows School educates just under 900 students, ranging from grades prek-12. Our approach to learning combines a traditional education with a focus on 21st century skills. To this end, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity are mainstays of The classroom experience. Students at The Meadows School learn that education carries with it a responsibility to one's self, family, and community. Service learning is emphasized in all grades, culminating with specific hour requirements in The upper School and an all-school day of service in The spring. Our liberal arts philosophy towards teaching ensures students graduate with a love of learning and a well-rounded portfolio of educational experiences. At The Meadows, we believe that The most productive members of society are exposed to all scholastic disciplines. To that end, future lawyers study physics and future doctors read shakespeare. Since our first graduating class in 1991, 100% of tms alumni have been accepted to 4-year colleges and universities. They arrive to their new campuses with curious, creative minds ready to change The world.
