Program areas at May-We-Help

Custom solutions for people with disabilites. May we help's core program makes wonderful things happen. In some cases, it brings independence to someone with a disability. In other cases, it allows someone to pursue a passion. And in yet other cases, it's life-changing for the caregiver. May we help provides custom assistive devices to individuals with disabilities. Four years ago, may we help had just one program and served 186 individuals. Now we have four programs, and this past year received just shy of 1,000 requests for our services, illustrating how we continue to help meet needs in the community with our unique and critical services. (see schedule o for continuation)tinker toy boxbefore they turn school age, the way kids learn is through play. Kids with disabilities often don't have the fine motor skills needed to use the toys designed for their age group, and his can leave a huge gap in their development. May we help's tinkered toy box solves this problem by providing free switch-adapted toys to children for the holidays. Last year, we provided 45 adapted toys to children. In 2022, we provided 200!adaptive equipment swapmay we help's adaptive equipment swap has transformed our region's access to life-changing equipment. We held our first swap in march of 2019, and to date have matched over 600 people with life-changing equipment!
