Program areas at Mavs of Springfield Baseball
The organization creates an opportunity for players to receive age-specific Baseball training and instruction. Through identification of one team at each age level, we offer the players and families Baseball and life skills through Baseball training, including training on teamwork and cooperation (including leadership training). In 2023, we had eleven (11) teams that provided this opportunity, including in-game and tournament opportunities, to 130 boys and families.
Conduct an opening season celebration. The event celebrates teams and upcoming season and provides an opportunity for the organization to showcase the players and team accomplishments
Participation in public service events - in 2023 the Mavs' eleven (11) teams (players and families) participated in multiple public service events, including: the crosslines toy drive; ozarks food harvest food drive ; maintenance of and improvements to high street church Baseball fields.
