For its own use, Mathematical Sciences Publishers developed the editorial-workflow software platform called "EditFlow" which helps manage submissions, peer review, and production of scientific journals. MSP also licenses this software to about one hundred and twenty other mathematics-research journals, including those of the American Mathematical Society, the London Mathematical Society (UK), and the Canadian Mathematical Society.

It provides all subscription, production, and publishing functions for the "Pacific Journal of Mathematics" (a California non-profit research journal), the "Annals of K-Theory" (a New Jersey non-profit research journal), and for the journals "Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex SystemsX and "Journal of Software for Algebra and Geometry." It is also preparing for publishing the content of three journals of the Rocky Mountain Mathematics Consortium. In 2022, MSP published or prepared about 7,000 pages for third-party publications.
