Drug prevention education for youth: Matforce provided research-based classroom education on the harms of drug and alcohol use to 11,573 kindergarten 12th grade students in the fiscal year. Drug education and skill training for adults: Matforce provided research-based parenting education to 1989 parents and teachers through parenting classes and workshops. 6,104 people participated in presentations on the harms of drugs and alcohol during 122 presentations, workshops and/or professional trainings. Strategies to address the opioid/heroin problem: 1,083 lbs of medication were collected and properly disposed through dump the drugs and 14 prescription take back boxes; multiple strategies were implemented including the overdose fatality review board.public awareness campaign: 22,082 community members were educated on the risks and harms of Substance use at 92 events. Over 2,0000,000 people were exposed to an anti-substance Abuse messages on social media and over 2,000,000 were exposed to a message on the harms of drugs and alcohol through tv, radio and or billboard messaging. A fentanyl and psychostimulant toolkit was further developed, focusing on messaging for youth, through the Substance Abuse Coalition leaders of Arizona, a project of Matforce. Yavapai reentry project: 232 individuals returning home from prison and jail were provided services through the Yavapai reentry project with a majority being matched with a community coach.
