Program areas at MFM

The Society is also an advocate for improving public policy and expanding research funding and opportunities in the area of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. The Society monitors governmental matters that could affect the study of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
The Society sponsors coding courses to instruct its members on how to code for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and to tie proper procedures and diagnosis codes to contracts. The Society provides workshops on issues related to Maternal-Fetal Medicine its members.
The Society hosts an annual scientific meeting in which new ideas and research in the area of Maternal-Fetal Medicine are presented and there are additional frequent continuing medical education courses provided by our members.
